I wonder if convertible electronic/accosic cymbals are in the future for Zildjian, Paiste Meinl and the like?

I’m looking at ordering one of these tomorrow. The Roland V-Cymbals are okay, but this looks to be an excellent product. As long as they’re strong enough to take a beating and sensitive enough when I don’t want to give them a beating… The price also looks just right. US$99 for the hi hats, through to US$200 for the ride, from what I’ve seen thus far. I’ll write them up if I manage to get one in.
