Jimmy Chamberlin’s take on the U2/iTunes debacle
This iTunes/U2 album drop thing is become quite a divisive topic the the music industry.
Last week, we Patrick Carney of the Black Keys had some strong words about his thoughts of the situation. Now, Jimmy Chamberlin has weighed in.
“Really, it’s hard enough to preserve a business and a brand, certainly with a visibility like U2. They looked at the market, they made a decision and they moved the ball forward for everybody.”
Considering Jimmy’s tenure in the music biz, I think he has a bit more perspective than Carney. What say you?
