Dave Grohl gets Motörhead Tattoo

As soon as he found out about the passing of Lemmy Kilmister, the Foo Fighters frontman got a tribute tattoo paying homage to the ace of spades. 

Dave Grohl and Lemmy Kilmister go way back. Aside from surely being influenced by Motörhead as a kid, the Foo Fighters frontman teamed with Lemmy for his short-lived metal side project Probot and joined him onstage (along with Slash) at the 2010 Revolver Golden Gods Awards for a performance of “Ace of Spades.” So when Grohl heard of Lemmy’s sudden passing on the evening of Dec. 28, he took quick action. By the end of Dec. 29, he had some fresh new Motörhead ink.
