Mike Mangini and Taylor Hawkins are among the guest drummers for Guitar Center’s 27th annual Drum-Off Finals.
This years five finalists are Hilario Bell, Jonathan Burks, Luis Burgos Jr., Brandon Zackey, and Tony Taylor.
While the event is meant to discover a new drumming talent, a number of rockers who know their way around the kit will be on hand to perform at the ceremony. Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, Dream Theater’s Mike Mangini, Marilyn Manson and Team Sleep’s Gil Sharone, James Brown drummer Clyde Stubblefield and Snarky Puppy and Ghost-Note stickman Robert Sput Searight will all perform during the festivities.
