Frank Ferrer (Guns N’ Roses) 101

Slash, Duff McKagan, and Axl Rose are reuniting again – but this time drummer Frank Ferrer will be slaying the drums.  Here’s the scoop on what brought him to the gig.

Ferrer released his first major-label recordings with the Beautiful, a New York-based band that gigged throughout the late ’80s and early ’90s while putting out a pair of releases through the Warners subsidiary Giant… Ferrer was a natural choice for Mantia’s replacement, and although the gig was supposed to last for only a couple of weeks, he was an official member by the end of the year.
