Ringo’s Childhood Home Sold for £70,000

Beatles drummer Ringo Starr’s childhood home sold for $98,973 at auction yesterday. 

Before fame and fortune struck the Fab Four, Starr’s home in Liverpool was a meeting place for the band members.  Starr even celebrated his 21st birthday and got married at his old home.  He paid homage to his old home in his 2008 song Liverpool 8… the childhood homes of other band members of the group have already been purchased.  In 2015, Sir Paul McCartney’s childhood home at 72 Western Avenue, Speke, was sold for £150,000.
