Drumming for 72 Hours for Needy Children

Almost three dozen drummers finished three consecutive days of playing for the Drumming Up Hope 2016 fundraising event in Loveland, Colorado.

The Colorado musicians raised nearly $6,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Realities for Children Charity by playing for 72 hours straight. It’s not official, but if the Guinness Book of World Records verifies the time, the group will break the previous 66 hour team record…It’s was a long three days for event organizer Tim Elliott, but the constant music kept him going…“Twenty-four, seven. As soon as someone stops, someone else starts. This noise has literally not stopped since Thursday,” he said.
